Description
Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is a very special high strength of two-phase titanium alloy with an alpha phase and a beta phase. It contains 6% of the alpha stable element Al, and 4% of the beta stable elements v, this kind of alloy has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and chemical properties. It is widely used in aerospace, petrochemical and marine engineering industry to produce all kinds of parts. It is a kind of extremely important titanium alloy material. Due to its great resistance to deformation and easy to crack, Gr5 titanium alloy tube production is very difficult to produce, can not be directly produced by rolling, so normally we forge the Gr5 titanium alloy ingot into bar billet with vertical extrusion equipment. After acid and alkali removal of surface scale, processed with deep hole drilling or extruding, turning and other mechanical processing methods to produce Gr5 titanium alloy tube. As for small size of Gr5 titanium alloy tube, we can directly produce through the mechanical processing of titanium bar.

Features
Because the yield strength is high when Under 500 ℃, so it is used in the aerospace industry for the production of the oil pipe.
It is used to make the high pressure vessel and the compressive structure. Because it has high specific strength and enough toughness and plasticity in normal or ultra low temperature environment

Packaging
In order to avoid the Gr5 titanium alloy tubes have any collision in transit or damage, usually put in plastic bag , and wrapped with pearl cotton (expandable polyethylene), then packed into wooden case.
